Certificate Program and/or Associates Degree Program
Globe Institute offers a Certificate Program and a full Associates Degree Program in Sound Healing and Therapy -- the study of the effect of sound on human beings physiologically, psychologically, emotionally and spiritually. The Certificate Program is the first semester of a four semester Associates Degree Program.

The Certificate program is a comprehensive curriculum designed to provide students with a broad perspective on this expanding industry, enabling them to focus on their areas of interest. The Degree program then goes deeper into each of the areas of study with additional classes on Research and Clinical Psychology Ethics. The Certificate gets you to the point where you can utilize a variety of sound healing techniques, whereas the Degree program trains you to be a Sound Therapist with all the responsibility that comes with the career.

Sound Healing and Sound Therapy Associates Degree Program
Students will perform research projects on new sound healing techniques (in line with the goal of the Institute to bring proven esoteric healing modalities into the mainstream). Ultimately, you will come away from this program as a Professional Sound Therapist. You will be able to setup your own business a Sound Therapist, doing sound healing with your voice, instruments or computer technology. You will also be capable of producing Musical Productions with specific intentions to help people. But most importantly, you will come away with a clear perspective of your own inner sound landscape, and you will know your own frequency spectrum in order to better transmit love and light into the world.

Sacred Architecture

In this course we will explore how the familiar concepts in musical composition form the basis of architectural design, at least in the traditional pre-Bauhaus schools of design. We will see how the musical terms consonance, accord, counterpoint, resolution, repetition, and variations on a theme all have meaning in the timeless approach to building design, by learning how to recognize and analyze these principles in the elements of various buildings. Key concepts from physics, such as resonance patterns, nodal points, attraction, in phase, and standing waves will supply additional insights into the natural laws of harmony. We will "visit" the great monuments of timeless architecture via illustrated lectures, videos, plan and elevation studies, and field trips. The accomplishments of the master builders of the Gothic Cathedrals, Islamic mosques, HIndu and Buddhist temples, and Neolithic megalithic monuments, and the humble dwellings of indigenous peoples will provide inspiring examples of how to create environments in harmony with ourselves, Nature and the Cosmos, that nurture our souls, and connect us with the Infinite within and without.
