SOUND HEALING AUDIO PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES USED IN THE MUSIC

The sounds and the music in each CD are based on ancient and modern science from the field of Sound Healing and Therapy, and from information and research at the Sound and Consciousness Institute in San Francisco.  Special attention has been paid to the creation of each of the Sounds used in each song.  The Sounds are as powerful as the music itself. When listening to headphones the effect is enhanced.

Use of Intention
It has now been proven scientifically that Intention is effective. It has also been shown that Intention gets embedded in the music and is then transmitted through to the listener during playback. The Intention of each song was held consistently through the entire recording process -- during composition, performance, recording and mixing.

Full Frequency Range of Sounds
As shown by the research of Alfred Tomatis, every frequency is a nutrient.  Therefore, we use the full frequency range of sounds – including very large amounts of bass for grounding, and often an abundant amount of high frequencies for connecting to spirit.

Sounds with Healing Harmonic Structures
Based on years of experience and research on the physics of sound, we have chosen sounds (natural to electronic) that are known to have specific effects on a person physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. These sounds have been tailored to specifically fit the the particular intention of the song.

Tempos Set to the Breath
Most songs have a basic tempo that is set to a really slow breath. Since the chords often follow the in and out breath they entrain your breath into a deeper state of relaxation. You can also consciously breathe along with most of the songs.

Binaural Beats
Most of the music includes Binaural Beat Frequencies to entrain the brain into a variety of brainwave states. Two frequencies are embedded in the music and the difference between the two notes creates a 3rd frequency which is below our normal hearing level. This 3rd frequency entrains your brain into delta (deep sleep or meditation), theta (creative day dreaming), or alpha (relaxed awareness). When you listen on headphones you get the extra added benefit of brain synchronization -- connecting the left and right brain through the Corpus Callosum. Through a special process the binaural beats are created so they are perfectly in tune with the key of the song.

Peaceful Endings
One of the most important aspects of Sound Healing is when the sound or music ends -- leaving you in a place of perfect peace. Many techniques and extreme care have been taken to create endings that leave you in this precious state of peace.

Other Sound Healing Music Production Techniques
Other techniques based on Frequency, Timbre, Musical Intervals, Modes, Repetition vs. Change, and Energy Flow have been incorporated into each song. David Gibson is the author of "The Art of Producing," and the #1 selling book in the field of Audio Recording, "The Art of Mixing." Sound Holograms
Many of the songs are Sound Holograms where every component within the music and recording are speaking to each other mathematically. For example, the tempo mathematically fits the key of the song. The binaural beats are also a multiple or perfect fraction (1/2, 1/2, 1/2...) of the pitch and tempo. The tempo of the breath incorporated into the chord changes is also a perfection subdivision of the tempo, pitch and binaural beats. All of this helps to synchronize the breath, heart, and brain.

The Schumann Resonance is a frequency in our atmosphere that is triggered by lightning. The frequency averages 7.83 cycles per second, and it entrains our brain into a brainwave state right between Theta and Alpha. Awakening
(this is the full version of the song that is throughout our website)

This most effective piece of music for connecting to spirit and creating a deep sense of peace within. This is a very magical piece that has proven to have unusually powerful emotional healing effects. Also good for pain (extremely low bass).  Tuned to the tempo of a meditative breath. 

This song has an interesting story.
The intention held throughout the recording was to instill peace and stillness. Anything that took away from that feeling of perfect presence and stillness was deleted. The second intention was to connect to spirit through the breath. The recording was begun by setting the tempo to an extremely slow meditative breath – extremely slow. Then every part was played to the tempo of this slow breath. Every rhythm including the oscillations and binaural beats within each sound are a multiple of the meditative breath.

Then strange things started to happen. It seems that from the beginning Spirit had its own ideas about how this project was to come out. After some unusual editing, stuck notes while recording, and sounds and a mix that happened on its own, the song came together – and every little mistake and problem turned out to be a result of divine intervention. The first time I played the CD (on our sound tables) I experienced beings of light coming into my heart and cruising through my entire body performing amazing healing. It was the most wonderful feeling of being taken care of.

Since then most of the people that listen to it experience angelic beings entering their body and performing healings.

The trick is to ask. Ask to have whatever physical, emotional, mental, or even spiritual issue resolved. Ask and receive. Because the song was based on the breath, if you listen closely you will easily find the tempo of breath that is comfortable for you – then breathe in the stillness and spirit.

The most important part is the end. As the bass fades out it leaves you in a state of profound peace. Hold this energy! After the song ends be still for at least 2 minutes – preferably 5 – 10 minutes. This is when the deepest healing often happens. In fact, if careful you can hold this stillness for the rest of the day. May the peace remain within you as long as possible.

This CD is a journey through the energy of each Chakra. We began by invoking the energy of each Chakra, then creating sounds and melodies that resonate harmoniously with each. We have held the intention of balancing each Chakra for the listener as we go through each.

The CD covers the full range of frequencies using 7 octaves. Many systems use one Octave (C to B) as the full range of Chakras. However, based on research in the field of Sound Healing, it has been shown that all frequencies are nutrients and that we need the full range of 20 – 20,000 hertz. It also just feels more natural that the Root is a really low tone and the Crown is a really high tone. It is also our belief that if you were to play all of the notes of the Chakras at the same time, they should create a harmonious sound. If you were to play all of the notes within an octave they do not sound good at all. Therefore, we are using the same note for each Chakra and simply moving up an Octave for the next so you can end up with all seven chakras in complete harmony with each other.

The most commonly accepted system says that the root Chakra is C. However, in China the root is F, and in Tibet it is an A. Scientific research from Nutri-Energetics Systems on the Quantum Morphogenetic Fields of Chakras, points to Bb as the most harmonious key to use.

This song takes you from the complete stillness of divine love then dynamically soars to the top of the mountain where the power of Spirit heals all, then brings you back down to complete stillness -- 3 times! It is a very powerful divine experience and is rockin' at one point (David Gilmour style lead guitar -- Think Pink Floyd with Love). Based on research in the field of Sound Therapy there are several key components of sound that may help with Depression:

Holding Frequency

This CD is about using Intention in music. It has been proven in scientific studies that intention affects us positively and that intention is carried through music that was created while holding an intention. For every song, we practiced holding the Intention 100% consistently (The more consistent the intention the stronger the healing effect). We then chose the key of the song based on the Intention. Everyone held the Intention while David played the basic synthesizer tracks. We then toned for over an hour while still holding the Intention consistently. Every session was a
transformative experience that comes through to the listener.

As we enter a time fraught with the possibility of more and more chaos: environmental catastrophes, economic collapse, and even the possibility of poles shifting -- not to mention emotional and mental upheaval as our dark sides are lit up, and we are challenged with the task of burning through them -- It becomes critical to be able to hold our own frequency, and the frequency of love and light -- No Matter What. As we hold this higher frequency consistently, it is like we are holding a beacon for others to resonate with, and join us -- making us all stronger in this high vibratory state. The more we all vibrate in this high vibration, the easier it is for all of us to remain in the light of love.

The song is also based on the Schumann resonance, which is an electromagnetic resonance between the earth and the ionosphere, triggered by lightning. This frequency entrains every brain on earth into the frequency of 7.83 hertz (on average). Every musical part in the song is tuned to this frequency, and we also timed our slow breath so that it is also in time with the same frequency - octavized down (1/2 by 1/2 by 1/2, etc). We then added binaural beats in tune with the Schumann Resonance to entrain your brain into this same frequency that all life is entrained to. The outcome is an extremely powerful recording that will help you hold the higher frequency of love and light while grounding into the earth.

5) Heal the Planet - The Intention was to connect to the core of the Earth and to hold the energy and visualization of the Planet being healed in every way.

6) 100% Focus - The Intention was to connect to the energy of clear focus with absolutely no distraction for all good on the planet. We not only held the intention for ourselves, but also connected to this clear focus of energy wherever it is present on the planet -- therefore resonating this energy ever stronger.

7) Compassion - Nothing more powerful. The Intention was to connect to the essence of Compassion. We had a statue of Quan Yin in front of us with a candle. As we connected to the pure heart of Compassion on the planet, the whole room lit up with white light.

8) The Sound of Love - This is not a song and has no voices on it. It is simply the frequency that the heart creates when transmitting love. When you transmit love your heartbeat creates a sound that has harmonics in golden mean ratios. In this recording, we chose the frequency of the rotation of the earth as the root frequency and then created harmonics with tone generators in golden mean ratios. Therefore, listening to these tones helps resonate your heart into the field of love.

This is the most  powerful and heartfelt piece we have.  It is especially good for clearing stuck emotions, opening the heart, and deep relaxation. Pachelbel makes more people cry than any song in the world (It is by far the #1 song used in weddings). It is sad and uplifting at the same time.
